Welcome to the website for District Council 3 of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades.
District Council 3 is comprised of multiple Local Unions covering the western half of Missouri and all of Kansas. We provide representation in the industries of Painting, Drywall Finishing, Wall Coverings, Floorlayers, Glass and Architectural Metal installation, as well as Sign, Display & Various Industrial Worker Classifications.
The goals of District Council 3 are to organize the unorganized, provide better working conditions for our members, and promote relations between our members, employers, and the communities in the Jurisdiction of District Council 3 by providing highly skilled, safety trained workers through our journeyperson upgrading and apprenticeship programs. We also offer Health & Welfare Benefits programs along with retirement security through our Pension Plans.
